Names, phone numbers, and addresses entered in a search form are sent to the outside provider that supplies that result function. Our servers do not retain a copy of those searches. A message sent to us contains only the information included in that message and is used to respond.

Like most hosted sites, the service can log an IP address, browser type, page request, and time of visit. We review this information in aggregate for security, maintenance, and general traffic patterns. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and, when used, advertising measurement.
How Limited Data Is Used
The limited information supports site operation, error correction, traffic measurement, and improvements. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual visitor profiles.

North Tonawanda Residents Directory links to county and state portals, library collections, archives, and outside search services. Each destination controls information submitted on its own pages under its own privacy terms. Sponsored search results are supplied by an outside company as well.
Who Might See Your Data
The service providers that host and support the site process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We disclose data when a valid legal process requires it, and not otherwise.
Keeping Technical Data Secure
The service uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only for the purposes described here. No user account, password, or personal profile is created by North Tonawanda Residents Directory.
Users Under 18
The site is meant for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Privacy Requests
Rights to access, correct, or delete data may depend on where a visitor lives and on the data held. Because we keep very little, a request usually concerns the contact mailbox or technical logs.
